HP launches laptops for students at a very low price!


HP has launched Chromebook x360 14a with an AMD chipset in India. This is the latest laptop from HP's Chromebook portfolio in the country which currently includes the HP Chromebook 11a and 14a. The company says that this Chromebook will meet the needs of students in the age group of 4 to 15 years.

HP Chromebook x360 14a: Specifications

HP Chromebook x360 14a features a 14-inch HD touchscreen anti-glare display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, peak brightness of up to 250 nits. AMD Radeon processor has been used in the smartphone. There is a dual-core AMD 3015Ce with graphics.


The Chromebook offers 4GB of DDR4 SDRAM and 64GB of eMMC storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card. HP promises 100GB of free Google Drive storage for a year when you buy the laptop.

To help facilitate video calls, the Chromebook x360 14a has a 720p HD webcam. Other connectivity and port options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, two USB-C ports with USB PD and DisplayPort 1.4 support, a USB-A port, and a headphone jack. The Chromebook uses a 2-cell 47Wh battery and promises to last up to 12.5 hours on a single charge. Apart from this, you can charge it up to 50 percent in 45 minutes.


As you'd expect from a Chromebook, the laptop runs Chrome OS and boots up in less than 10 seconds. Here you also get native support for Google Assistant.

Price and Availability

HP Chromebook x360 14a comes in Mineral Silver, Ceramic White, and Forest Teal color options. It is available on Amazon India at a starting price of Rs 32,999. However, you can buy it for Rs 31,490 during the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale.
