Instagram has added this new update to its direct messaging service (DM), which will provide the facility of message translation, music stickers and message scheduling. This feature has been available on Meta's social media platform Facebook since 2018. However, this feature is not currently available in WhatsApp.

New features of Instagram

Instagram said in its blog post that with the addition of the new feature, users will get the option to translate any message sent or received through the app by tapping on it. The translated message will be visible to the users just below.

Apart from this, music sticker has also been added to Instagram's DM. This service will allow users to share a paragraph of the selected song in their message. Now you will be able to see this music feature in the sticker tag in your chat. You will be able to share 30 seconds of music in your message through DM.

Users will be able to schedule messages

Apart from this, users will also get the facility to schedule messages in Instagram DM. This feature is especially useful for those users who want to send birthday messages to someone at night. For this, they will now be able to schedule messages on Instagram according to the fixed time.

Not only this, an unhelpful change has also been made in Instagram's group chat feature. Users can now invite someone to the group chat via QR code. However, the group admin will have the right to manage the QR code. Apart from this, along with pinning three chats in Instagram DM, users will now be able to pin group chats in it as well. Instagram users will start getting this feature soon. Meta has officially rolled out this feature.
