Chat filter introduced in WhatsApp, now you will be able to find any message easily!

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called "Chat Filter" in its app to make the chat feature easier for its users. WhatsApp's parent company Meta announced this feature in its latest blog post.

What is a WhatsApp chat filter?

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that with the launch of chat filters, WhatsApp users will be able to find any message in a very short time. This latest feature will reduce the time taken to search for a specific chat within the social media app.

The idea and process of creating this filter feature started when users started using WhatsApp for both personal and business purposes. The filter feature will help users access a specific chat without scrolling through their entire inbox, allowing them to talk to the people they want to chat with.

WhatsApp has introduced three default filters to help users reach the right chatbox.

Steps to set up chat filters:

Step 1: First of all, update your WhatsApp to the latest version.

Step 2: Then, open WhatsApp on your iOS or Android phone.

Step 3: At the top of your profile, you'll see three filters: All, Unread, and Groups. Click on it.

All: In this category, users will see all personal and group chats together.

Unread: In this filter, users will be able to see only those messages which they have not opened yet. Once opened, the message will also display an "Unread" label.

Groups: This filter will display all the groups the user belongs to.

WhatsApp announced that chat filters will start becoming available to users around the world starting today. To use this feature, users will have to update their WhatsApp from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
