Before packing your AC, you must check these things, next season it will be as cold as Ladakh

AC Packing Tips: The summer season is over and with it the need for AC is also over. Now the winter season is about to start. Keeping this in mind, people have started packing their AC. Before packing the AC, some important things should be kept in mind, so that you do not face any problem in the next season. But, some people do not pay attention to these and pack the AC carelessly. Then later they have to suffer the consequences. We tell you about those things of AC, which you must check while packing. 

Clean the AC

Before packing the AC, always clean the dust accumulated both inside and outside it. Remove and wash or replace the AC filter. Clean the cooling coil. Also clean the drainage pipe properly.

Let the AC dry

After cleaning the AC, let it dry completely. This is most important. If the AC is not completely dry, packing it can increase the humidity and damage the AC.

Cover the AC

Make sure to cover the AC with a strong cloth or plastic sheet. This will protect the AC from dust and moisture. 

Keep the AC in a cool and dry place

Do not keep the AC anywhere. Keep the AC in a place where there is no moisture and the temperature remains constant. Also make sure that direct sunlight does not fall on it. Also, the AC should not get wet in the rain.  

Pack all parts separately

Pack all the parts of the AC separately so that they do not get damaged. Keep the remote control, manual and other items safe as well. This will also make it easier for you to unpack the AC in the next season.
