Netflix has suddenly given a big shock to iPhone users. It will stop supporting some old iPhones and iPads. Netflix's app will work on these phones and tablets, but you will not get new features or updates.
Netflix has said that they will stop supporting some older iPhones and iPads. The company is updating and now their apps will require iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 to run. If you have an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, first generation iPad Pro, or 5th generation iPad, you will not be able to do these updates. The Netflix app will work on these phones and tablets, but you will not get new features or updates.
New features will not be seen
If you have an older iPhone or iPad, you can still use the Netflix app. But you won't get new features or bug fixes. However, you can use Netflix through a web browser.

Netflix has taken this decision because they want to focus on new software and improve the user experience. A website checked Netflix's app and found out that the company is going to do this. Netflix has not yet said when they will stop supporting old phones and tablets. But this may happen soon.
