Now this rule has become useful in leagues around the world. Under this, 12 players get a chance to play in the match instead of 11. Till now this rule has not been implemented in international cricket.

Now the rule of unlimited superover has come into effect in ODI also. If a match is tied, a super-over will be played until the result is declared. This year the time-out rule also came into effect in international cricket. Under this, if the bowler takes more than 60 seconds to start a new over for the third time in an innings, then the bowling team will have to face a penalty of five runs.
