Virat Kohli is not called the world's top batsman for nothing. Virat played an innings of 85 runs in the very first match of the World Cup on Sunday and made many records in his name. With this he has also become Asia's number-1 player. Kohli also made a big record with Rahul.

The pair of these two players made a partnership of 165 runs for the fourth wicket in the match against Australia. With this, this pair has become the biggest partnership for India against Australia in the World Cup history.

With the partnership of 165 runs, Kohli-Rahul broke the record of Ajay Jadeja and Robin Singh. Jadeja-Robin pair had made a partnership of 141 runs in 1999 while in 2019, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan had made a partnership of 127 runs.

This partnership of Rahul-Kohli for the fourth wicket is the second biggest partnership in the World Cup. At number one is the pair of Dhoni and Raina who scored unbeaten 196 runs against Zimbabwe in Auckland in 2015.
