Will Shubman Gill, who got Rohit Sharma out, be released from the team? Will be out from the next match!

The Indian cricket team is currently busy in the T20 series against Afghanistan as part of its preparations for the T20 World Cup. In the first T20 match, Team India defeated Afghanistan by six wickets. Even before the series began, it was predicted that India would win, considering it as part of their T20 World Cup preparation.
An incident was seen in the first match where confusion arose between Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma. Due to a mistake by Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma was run out without facing the ball, which created a lot of uproar. However, as the second T20 approaches, Shubman Gill may be in danger.
Will Gill be benched for the second match?
It is possible that Shubman Gill may be kept out of the playing eleven in the second T20 match. This is not because of his involvement in running out Rohit Sharma but because of his lack of fit in the combination. Due to Virat Kohli's return to Team India in the second T20 along with the expected fitness of Yashasvi Jaiswal, there does not seem to be a place for Shubman Gill in the playing eleven.
Coach Rahul Dravid had already said that Rohit and Jaiswal would be the favourite opening pair in this series. If Yashasvi Jaiswal returns, he is likely to open with Rohit Sharma, leaving Virat Kohli at the number three position. This is the reason why Shubman Gill's place in the playing eleven looks uncertain.
Gill has limited success in T20
Despite performing brilliantly in ODIs with an average of around 60, Shubman Gill has not had the same success in T20s. Playing only 14 T20 matches, he has scored only 335 runs, which also includes a century. His T20 average is a modest 25.77, raising doubts over his suitability in the T20 format. Due to this, questions are being raised about Shubman Gill's place in the T20 lineup and his performance in the upcoming matches will be closely scrutinized.
