After losing the ODI series to West Indies, Bangladesh started the T20 series with a bang. It created history by defeating West Indies in the first T20 match. But Hasan Mahmud gave victory to West Indies by taking the wicket of captain Rovman Powell on the third ball of the last over and then Alzari Joseph on the fifth ball. He took two wickets. Taskin Ahmed also got two wickets. Rishad Hussain and Tanjim Hasan Sakib got one wicket each. However, Mehdi Hasan gave a brilliant performance for Bangladesh. He took 4 wickets for just 13 runs in 4 overs.
