Team India's fast bowler Mohammed Shami turned 34 on 3 September. This right-handed fast bowler is considered one of the best bowlers in the world today. Today he has money and fame but there was a time when Shami had to live in other people's houses. He was dependent on every penny. Mohammed Shami had to leave his home for cricket. Let us tell you the story of Mohammed Shami which very few people know.

Mohammad Shami was born in Amroha, UP and he played a lot of cricket here but he did not get many opportunities at the higher level. After this, Shami's coach Badruddin Siddiqui advised him to move from Amroha to Kolkata. Shami followed the coach's advice and made Kolkata his base in 2005. He joined Dalhousie Athletic Club there where he was noticed by Cricket Association of Bandal's Assistant Secretary Debabrata Das. He was quite impressed with his bowling and introduced Shami to Ganguly. Shami also bowled to Ganguly and this former Indian captain advised him to take care of Shami. After this, Debabrata Das gave Shami a place in his club Town Club, where he was given a contract of Rs 75000. Shami did not have any place to live, so Das gave him a place in his house. Shami worked very hard that year but he could not make it to Bengal's Under 22 team.

However, based on hard work, Shami made it to Bengal's first-class team in 2010. This right-handed fast bowler made his debut against Assam. Shami performed so well in the next three years that he reached Team India. Shami played his debut match against Pakistan and he bowled brilliantly and took one wicket. There was only one wicket but his pace and swing troubled the Pakistani batsmen a lot.

Today Shami has taken 229 wickets in 64 Test matches. He has 195 wickets in 101 ODIs. He has also taken 127 wickets in IPL. Shami, who once used to take shelter in someone else's house, is today the owner of crores. His property is worth more than 50 crores. He has a very big farm house in Amroha where he has built a personal ground and nets for his practice.
