ICC Champions Trophy 2025: BCCI has made its stand clear on the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan. Let us know what was said by the Indian board.

BCCI On ICC Champions Trophy 2025: There are only question marks ahead of the Champions Trophy (ICC Champions Trophy 2025). Even though the date of the tournament has been decided, it is not yet confirmed whether Team India will tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. Jay Shah, who took over the responsibility of BCCI Secretary, has become the Chairman of ICC. In such a situation, it may be very difficult for him to resolve the matter of Champions Trophy.

Jay Shah will take over as ICCs Chairman from December 1. After Jay Shah became the ICC Chairman, whether Team India will go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy or not, it has also not been decided yet. However, meanwhile, the BCCI official revealed that it is not in his hands. The government will decide this matter. The official also said that it will be a difficult task for Jai Shah.

The BCCI official, while talking to 'InsideSports', said, "There has been no discussion regarding the Champions Trophy. Our stand is clear. We will do what the government says. I can understand that it will be a difficult task for Jai Shah as he will be the chief of the ICC. But he understands the concern and we hope that India's matches will be shifted to a neutral venue. As ICC chief, he will have to change the stance of his father or the government."

The official further said, "Look, it will be difficult for the ICC to conduct the tournament without India. We want the event to continue. It is good for cricket, but the stand is clear. We have already asked the ICC to consider shifting India's matches to a neutral venue while keeping Pakistan as the host. If we do not get the green signal from the Indian government, we will continue to do so."
