Akil Hussain, who has played for IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad, has achieved a great feat in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. Akil Hussain took five wickets with a hat-trick for New York Strikers in the shortest format of cricket.

On the basis of his brilliant bowling, New York Strikers defeated Samp Army by 41 runs and made it to the finals. New York scored 121 runs after losing five wickets in the stipulated overs on the basis of Rahmanullah Gurbaz's inning of 56 runs. Samp Army, which came to chase the target of 122 runs, collapsed like a house of cards in front of Hussain's killer bowling.

West Indies spinner Hussain completed his hat-trick by dismissing Andries Gaus on the third ball of his first over, Brevis on the fourth ball and Ibrahim Zadran on the fifth ball. After this, he took the wickets of Faf du Plessis and Najibullah Zadran. Thus he took five wickets giving a total of six runs in two overs.
