In the fifth and last Test against India, England won the toss and decided to bat first. This was an important record for veteran Indian off-spinner R Ashwin as he played his 100th Test match. England batsman Jonny Bairstow is also celebrating his 100th Test match. Both the opening batsmen of England displayed excellent composure and put pressure on Team India to achieve the first success.

Kuldeep Yadav gave success to India by dismissing Ben Duckett for 27 runs. Duckett tried to hit a high shot against Kuldeep's ball and the ball went high in the air. Shubman Gill displayed great athleticism and took a brilliant catch by diving behind the ball like Superman.

In the 18th over of England's first innings, Kuldeep Yadav's ball took the edge of Ben Duckett's bat, went straight into the air and was seen falling far away from the fielder. However, Shubman Gill displayed agility, running backwards and diving to eventually secure the catch. Gill's acrobatic catch brought great relief and happiness to captain Rohit Sharma and other Indian players.
