There is a song in Aamir Khan's movie 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' which came out years ago - 'Haari Baazi Ko Jeetna Humein Aata Hai'... Rinku Singh and Suryakumar Yadav have done the same in the third T20 against Sri Lanka. They have snatched the victory from Sri Lanka's throat.

It is said that the winner is the king. And, the one who turns the game around is a magician. Rinku Singh and Suryakumar Yadav are the two magicians of Team India, who turned the game around in the last T20 match against Sri Lanka. They snatched the victory from Sri Lanka. It is because of Rinku and Surya's amazing performance that India managed to clean sweep the T20 series. Otherwise, Sri Lanka had made a complete plan to make the result of the series 1-2. In the third match of the T20 series against Sri Lanka, the magic of Rinku and Suryakumar was seen in the last 12 balls i.e. the last 2 overs.

Seeing Sri Lanka close to victory, Surya handed the ball to Rinku Singh

Sri Lanka had to score only 9 runs in the last 12 balls to win. And, it also had 6 wickets left. That means victory was in Sri Lanka's hands. But, they say that the game is not over until the last ball is bowled. This is exactly what happened in this match. But, what happened before that was even more surprising. When Sri Lanka was standing at the doorstep of victory, India's new T20 captain Suryakumar handed the ball to Rinku Singh and asked him to bowl the 19th over.

Surya's plan was successful, Rinku Singh took 2 wickets for 3 runs

Now it is not known whether it was Gautam Gambhir's plan or Suryakumar Yadav's brain behind this. But, this decision taken by captain Surya on the field proved to be a masterstroke for Team India. Rinku Singh bowled bravely against a seasoned Sri Lankan batsman like Kusal Perera. He did not give any run on the first ball and took the wicket of Perera, who was playing on 46 runs, on the second ball.

After taking the wicket of Kusal Perera, Rinku gave only 3 runs on the next 3 balls. After that, he also dismissed Ramesh Mendis on the last ball of the 19th over. In this way, Rinku Singh took 2 wickets of Sri Lanka by giving 3 runs in the 19th over.

Suryakumar Yadav surprised everyone in the 20th over

However, the work was not yet done. Sri Lanka's path to victory was still easy. Because, it had to score only 6 runs in the last over and still had 4 wickets in hand. Now the question before Team India was who would bowl the last over? And, when Captain Surya himself came forward as the answer to this question, not only cricket fans around the world but even the players of Team India themselves were surprised.

Surya tied the match by taking 2 wickets

Suryakumar also started the 20th over in the style of Rinku Singh. No run on the first ball and wicket on the second ball. He dismissed Kamindu Mendis. Then on the very next ball, he took the wicket of Mahish Teekshana as well. It seemed that the captain would take a hat-trick, however, it did not happen. Ashika Fernando scored 1 run on the fourth ball while debutant Wickramasinghe scored 2 runs on the fifth ball.

Now Sri Lanka needed 3 runs on the last ball. Debutant Wickramasinghe was on strike. He did not score 3 runs on the last ball of Surya but he definitely scored those valuable 2 runs for his team due to which the match got tied and went into the super over.

India won again in the super over

The amazing thing was that India's record of winning the Super Over has been tremendous this year. And, it repeated its same success here as well. Washington, who came to bowl the Super Over for India, first took 2 wickets of Sri Lanka in just 4 balls. After that, the target of 3 runs that India got in the Super Over for victory was achieved by Suryakumar by hitting a four on the very first ball
