Tokyo Paralympic 2020: Jaipur's shooter Avni Lekhara has once again brought laurels to the country, now won a bronze medal in the 50m rifle three-position event


Once again in the Tokyo Paralympics, Rajasthan's capital Jaipur's shooter Avani Lekhara has brought laurels to the country by winning a medal. Avani Lekhara, who won a gold medal in the 10m air rifle event four days ago, has now won a bronze medal in the women's 50m rifle three positions event.



Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot have congratulated Avani Lekhara on this achievement. India's medal tally at the Tokyo Paralympics has now increased to 12 after Avani Lekhara won a bronze medal in the R8 Women's 50m Rifle 3P SH1 today. Today India has won its second medal in the Tokyo Paralympics.

Earlier today, India's athlete Praveen Kumar won a silver medal in the men's high jump (T-64 event). Praveen had won the silver medal with a jump of 2.07 meters.
