BCCI has shared a video on its ex account. Tilak Verma is seen saying Chennai-Chennai in it. Tilak Verma said, "If we say Chennai, the first thing that comes to mind is Mahi bhai (Mahendra Singh Dhoni). Mahi bhai and Rajnikanth sir come. Everything else comes after that." Tilak further said, "There are two players from our team, one Varun (Chakravarti) and one Washi (Washington Sundar). So for them I would say that Varun wants a crispy dosa at home in the morning for breakfast and dinner at Washi's house in the evening."

As soon as Team India reached the airport, a huge crowd of fans gathered to see the players. In the video, spinner Varun Chakraborty is saying that he is going to play an international match for the first time in Chennai and his family is also coming to watch this match.
