This legendary Indian cricketer will retire after IPL 2024!

Indian wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik may announce his retirement from cricket after the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. Dinesh Karthik will be seen playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 17th edition of IPL. This edition of IPL will start from March 22.

In the first match, RCB will face defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk Stadium. 38-year-old Dinesh Karthik has played in all 16 editions of IPL since 2008. Let us tell you that he has not played only two matches in the last 16 seasons. A BCCI source informed on condition of anonymity that IPL 2024 will be his (Dinesh Karthik's) last edition.

After this he will decide on his retirement from IPL as well as international cricket. Dinesh Karthik has scored 4516 runs in 242 IPL matches with 20 half-centuries. In his IPL career, he has taken 141 catches and 36 stumpings.
