There is no good news coming for the Indian team before the start of the Asian Games. The Indian men's cricket team is also to participate in the Asian Games to be held from 19 September to 8 October.

Before the departure of the Indian team for this mega event, reports of injury to fast bowler Shivam Mavi have come to light. According to reports, Shivam Mavi may be out of the Asian Games 2023 squad due to a back injury. 

This can prove to be a big blow for the Indian team captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad.

If reports are to be believed, now stormy fast bowler Umran Malik may get a place in the Indian team in place of Shivam Mavi. According to reports, despite Shivam Mavi's injury not being serious, there is little hope of him being fit for the Asian Games 2023.
