Every day some kind of controversy is seen in Pakistan cricket. At present, the issue of Jason Gillespie leaving the Pakistan cricket team is hot. Suddenly Jason Gillespie resigned from the post of head coach of Pakistan's Test team. However, now some such things have come to light due to which it can be said that Jason did not suddenly resign from the post of coach. He took a big step when he felt isolated.

Jason got such a message on Whatsapp

Usually the coach has an important role in the selection of the team. The coach selects the team along with the selection committee but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had taken away this right from Jason. Jason revealed, 'I was told through a message in a WhatsApp group that the head coach will have no role in the selection of the Pakistan cricket team'. Apart from this, he also accused the PCB of lack of communication and not clarifying the issues properly.

Assistant coach Tim Nielsen was suddenly fired

Recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board also suddenly sacked assistant coach Tim Nielsen. He was appointed to this post in August 2024 but was soon removed. On Tim Nielsen's sudden ouster, Jason said, 'My senior assistant coach Tim Nielsen was told that his services are no longer required and I have not had any conversation with anyone about this. I thought only after many other things that have happened in the last few months, this was the moment when I thought Well, I'm not really sure they wanted me to do this job'.

Gillespie has also made a big revelation about Pakistan's star cricketer Babar Azam. He said that when Babar Azam was dropped from the Test series against England, he had no role in it. According to Jason, this decision was taken by the new selection committee.
