An ICC board member told PTI that the PCB has submitted a draft of the 15-match ICC Champions Trophy. There will be seven matches in Lahore, three in Karachi and five in Rawalpindi. But due to security and logistical reasons, all India's matches have been kept in Lahore. The opening match will be held in Karachi, the two semi-finals will be held in Karachi and Rawalpindi, the final will be held in Lahore.

Indian government will take the final decision

The last tournament hosted by Pakistan was the Asia Cup in 2023. But this tournament was played in a hybrid model due to Team India. Team India played its matches in Sri Lanka and the final was also played here. In such a situation, whether the Indian team will tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy or not, this decision will be taken by the Indian government. Let us tell you, the ICC cannot force any board on its behalf to go against its government policy.
