The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has started and India will start its campaign against Ireland on Wednesday. After this, India will face arch-rival Pakistan on Sunday. The global body of cricket has decided to issue additional tickets for some major T20 World Cup matches, including the match between India and Pakistan.
The ICC said that it will also make more tickets available in other categories for the matches to be held in Texas and Florida, which are the two other venues apart from New York that are hosting the tournament in the US. ICC made an important decision
After an exciting opening weekend of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, additional tickets have been issued for the last time for the entire tournament, the ICC said in a statement. Additional general admission tickets have been issued for several big matches of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, including the match between India and Pakistan in New York on June 9. The ICC has worked closely with partners to issue additional tickets and ensure that as many fans as possible can be a part of this historic tournament.
More interest was shown in the tournament
Even though the ICC has decided to issue additional tickets for the tournament, there has not been much interest in it in the US. So far two matches of the T20 World Cup have been played in the US, but there has not been much enthusiasm among the fans about this tournament. Cricket stadiums have also not been seen to be full that much.
