T20 World Cup 2024: What is the biggest problem of Team India before Super-8 match?

Team India's Super-8 matches are starting from June 20. In Super-8, India will face Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Australia. That is, the challenge will be bigger than the group stage. Team India has won all its matches in the group stage but they also have a big problem before the start of Super-8. It is important to address these issues because the challenges ahead are huge.

In the group stage, Team India's playing XI included many players who did not get a chance to bat or bowl. Some players were seen struggling with their form. And with this form, they have entered the Super-8. Now if such players do not contribute to the team on the occasion in Super-8, then the difficulties may increase.

Ravindra Jadeja's name is at the top among those players of the Indian team, who could neither score 1 run with the bat nor take any wicket of the team with the ball in the group stage. In 3 matches in the group stage, Jadeja batted in 1 innings and bowled in 2 innings. But when he came to bat, he was out without opening the account and after bowling 3 overs in 3 matches, he gave 17 runs but did not get any wicket.

Everyone saw Virat Kohli's form in the group stage except Jadeja. This is the reason why only 5 runs were recorded in his name in 3 innings of 3 matches in the group stage. Meaning, he has not even scored 10 runs in the first 3 matches of T20 World Cup 2024. He has not faced even 10 balls in 3 matches so far.

Hardik Pandya has shown his tremendous game with the ball in the group stage. But, not getting a chance to bat before the start of Super-8 is a matter of concern for Team India. Hardik played 3 matches in the group stage but batted in only 1 innings, in which he was out after scoring 7 runs. Axar Patel was also in the same situation as Hardik. He also took 3 wickets with the ball in 3 matches. But, batted in only 1 innings.

It is good that runs have come from the bats of Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav in the group stage. India's fast attack with the ball looked useless. But, if Team India has to win the T20 World Cup, then they will have to avoid even a single mistake.
