Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy: Tilak Verma played a stormy century in Jaipur, scored so many runs in just 69 balls.
Hyderabad's young batsman Tilak Verma played a stormy innings against Baroda in Jaipur in the Group A match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He scored unbeaten 121 runs on 69 balls. In this innings he hit 14 fours and four sixes.
However, despite his stormy innings, Hyderabad had to face defeat against Baroda. Hyderabad, playing first on the basis of Tilak Verma's stormy innings, scored 186 runs for six wickets in the stipulated twenty overs. In reply, Baroda team achieved the target by losing four wickets in 18.2 overs.
On his behalf, captain Krunal Pandya and Vishnu Solanki played stormy half-century innings. Vishnu Solanki played a stormy inning of 71 runs on 37 balls for the team. In this innings he hit three fours and six sixes. Whereas captain Krunal Pandya scored 64 runs on 36 balls. In this innings he hit eight fours and one six.
