All the money went to the McGrath Foundation

Glenn McGrath has been a legendary Australian player. He founded the McGrath Foundation in 2005 along with his wife Jane McGrath. Jane died of breast cancer in 2008. Since then, the Australian team plays the first Test every year since 2009 in her memory. All the money earned from this goes to the McGrath Foundation. This foundation helps breast cancer patients in Australia.

Australia won the Sydney test

In the Pink Test played in Sydney, the Australian team had an upper hand over Team India. Australia had won this match in the second session of the third day itself. Team India had scored 185 runs while batting first. In reply, Australia was also dismissed cheaply. The Kangaroo team had scored 181 runs in the first innings. After this, India's second innings ended at 157 runs. Due to a lead of four runs in the first innings, India gave Australia a target of 162 runs to win. Chasing this target easily, Australia won the match by 6 wickets.
