Harbhajan-Sreesanth controversy

In the very first season of IPL in the year 2008, there was a big dispute between Shanthakumaran Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh. Harbhajan was then playing for Mumbai Indians and Sreesanth for Punjab Kings. After the match was over, there was a dispute between the two on some issue. Harbhajan slapped Sreesanth then. Sreesanth started crying on the field itself. Harbhajan was banned after this incident.

The head coach slapped the player

Former Sri Lankan player Chandika Hathurusingha was the coach of the Bangladesh cricket team during the 2023 ODI World Cup. He was accused of slapping a player then. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) later took action against Chandika and sacked him.

This person had raised his hand on Sehwag

Former explosive opener of Team India Virender Sehwag has also been slapped. In the year 2002, the coach of Team India was John Wright.
