Security had become a cause of trouble in Pakistan, South African player revealed the whole truth before the semi-final

Pakistan had made strict security arrangements for the teams participating in the Champions Trophy. Many protocols were made, due to which it became difficult for the players to even leave the hotel. They were living under stress and security had become a cause of trouble for them. Perhaps that is why despite travelling about 3000 kilometres before an important match like the semi-finals, the South African players did not complain. On the contrary, they expressed happiness for the journey from Karachi to Dubai and Dubai to Lahore. South Africa's dashing batsman Heinrich Klaasen has exposed the whole truth of Pakistan after spending about 18 hours in Dubai.
What did Klassen say about Pakistan?
Dubai has been made the base of Team India in the Champions Trophy. However, other teams are facing some difficulty in playing matches with India. They have to travel to Dubai. Questions are also being raised about this. But South African team player Heinrich Klaasen has expressed happiness over this. According to a Cricbuzz report, he has told before the semi-finals that the players of his team had to remain confined in the hotel due to security reasons. But the opportunity to leave Pakistan and go to Dubai before the semi-finals proved to be a boon for them. The players were able to roam freely and got a chance to relax.
Klaasen said in the press conference, 'We knew that we might have to travel to Dubai. It is not good for the body, but at least we got some time to get out and roam around and relax. We had some good time. But we knew this was going to happen. It was part of the scheduling that two teams from Group B would have to do this and we were one of them. We did not travel much in this tournament and had to travel to Dubai for the match. But these 18 hours were great. At least we got time to stretch our legs and recover before coming back. I think our body will now be in better condition than in New Zealand.'
Why did you travel to Dubai?
The venue of South Africa's semi-final match depended on the match between India and New Zealand. If New Zealand had won its last group match against India, it would have become number-1 in Group A. Then it would have faced Australia. On the other hand, South Africa, which topped its group, would have had to stay in Dubai and on March 4, it would have faced the Indian team, which was at the second position in Group B. But Team India won the match and went to the top of its group. Therefore, Australia, which was at the second position in Group B, stayed there, while South Africa had to return to Lahore.
