Therefore, the board was considering giving him a chance against England. However he did not participate in the domestic ODI tournament Vijay Hazare Trophy. BCCI is very angry with this and now it wants to investigate this matter.

BCCI wants that now the players of Team India should give importance to domestic cricket. The team will be selected on this basis. But according to media reports, Sanju Samson had told Kerala Cricket Association that he will not be able to come to the camp to prepare for Vijay Hazare Trophy. After this, KCA dropped him from the tournament, due to which the controversy increased. Let us tell you that the dispute between KCA and Samson has been going on for a long time.

On the other hand, Samson was seen practicing in Dubai. Also, he did not give any reason to the selectors and the board for leaving the domestic ODI tournament. That is why the BCCI is angry with him. Now the board wants to investigate this matter before announcing the squad for England. He was one of the big contenders for the wicketkeeper for the Champions Trophy along with Rishabh Pant, Dhruv Jurel and KL Rahul.

Will there be action against Samson?

According to the report, the selectors would like to know the real reason behind Samson missing the Vijay Hazare Trophy. If he fails in this, it will be difficult for him to play in the upcoming ODI matches. BCCI sources said that 'Samson has a long-standing dispute with KCA. But it is not possible that due to this he does not participate in domestic cricket. He will have to play after clearing the misunderstandings. He participated in the domestic T20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.' Let us tell you that before this, BCCI has taken action against Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan. Due to not playing domestic cricket, both of them lost their place in the team as well as their contract.
