'Sadness is inevitable': Former Indian cricketer blamed MS Dhoni and the selectors for this reason
Former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary has recently opened up about being dropped from the team while he was at the peak of his career. Tiwary was unceremoniously dropped from the national team after scoring a century for India in an ODI against West Indies in 2011. He was only included in the team for about eight months before being sent back to the playing XI. In a recent interaction, he said that he was disappointed with how things went wrong and also made some indirect comments on then-captain MS Dhoni, saying that he would talk about it in the future. Tiwary said that being dropped from the team at such a crucial stage of his career really dented his confidence.
Manoj Tiwari's confidence is broken
“Look, it happened a long time ago. It's the past, but yes, it hurts. I would be lying if I said it wasn't hurtful. What can we do? This is life;,but we need to move on. If I have to write my autobiography or create my own podcast, I will tell everything. But it wasn't easy. When a player is at his peak when his confidence is shaken, it leads to a change in mindset,” he told CricketAddictor.
