SA vs AFG: Mohammad Nabi created history on the very first ball, made a special record in the Champions Trophy

Afghanistan's experienced player Mohammad Nabi has registered a big record in his name at Karachi's National Bank Stadium. 40-year-old Nabi has now become the third oldest player to take a wicket in the history of the Champions Trophy. The special thing is that he has achieved this feat on his very first ball. In this matter, he has surpassed Howard Johnson of America and Roland Lefebvre of Netherlands.

The Champions Trophy started on 19 February with the Pakistan-New Zealand match. On 20 February, India and Bangladesh played a match. While on 21 February, Afghanistan and South Africa will play a match in Group B at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. In this match, South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first. South Africa had scored 28 runs in 5 overs. Nabi bowled the sixth over which was his first over. Nabi did a great feat on the very first ball. Zorzi played a shot towards mid-on on Nabi's first ball but Azmatullah Omarzai caught this ball and Zorzi's innings ended on 11 runs in 11 balls. Nabi is now the third oldest bowler (age 40 years 51 days) to take a wicket in the Champions Trophy.
In this case, number one is Tony Reid of America who achieved this feat against New Zealand in 2004 at the age of 42 years 154 days. While at number two is former Sri Lankan player Sanath Jayasuriya (age 40 years 89 days). Nabi left behind Howard Johnson (age 40 years 28 days) and Roland Lefebvre (39 years 221 days).
Afghanistan is playing Champions Trophy for the first time
The Champions Trophy started in the year 1998. By the year 2017, it had eight editions, now Pakistan is hosting the ninth season. Eight teams are involved in it.
