A case has been registered against him in Kerala. This matter has come to light regarding the construction of a sports academy in Kollur, Karnataka. It is noteworthy that Indian cricket S Sreesanth was arrested in Delhi in 2013 on charges of spot fixing. For this reason, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had imposed a lifetime ban on him, which was later reduced to seven years.
