Rohit Sharma made this world record in his name by scoring a century, also broke the record of Virat Kohli

India defeated Afghanistan in the Super Over in the third T20 match played in Bengaluru and captured the three-match series 3-0. In this match, captain Rohit Sharma also made a world record by scoring a century.

Rohit Sharma scored 121 runs in 69 balls at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. During this innings, he hit 11 fours and eight sixes. Based on this innings, Rohit Sharma has become the batsman who has scored the most centuries in international T20 cricket. This is his fifth century. In this matter, he left behind Suryakumar Yadav of India and Glenn Maxwell of Australia. Suryakumar and Maxwell have four centuries each.

Based on this inning, Rohit Sharma has also broken the record of Virat Kohli as captain. Rohit Sharma has now become the highest run-scorer cricketer for India in T20 as captain. He has scored 1648 runs in 54 matches. As captain of Team India, Kohli has scored 1570 runs in 50 matches.
