The pair of India's Rohan Bopanna and Australia's Matthew Ebden have made it to the men's doubles final of the US Open today. With this victory, a world record has been registered in the name of India's star tennis player Rohan Bopanna.

Rohan Bopanna has become the oldest player in the world to reach a Grand Slam final (singles or doubles). Rohan has made it to the finals of the US Open at the age of 43 years and 6 months. The veteran player broke the record of Canada's Daniel Nestor, who had reached the final of the 2016 Australian Open at the age of 43 years and four months. 

Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden of Australia defeated French pair of Pierre Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut in the semi-finals. The pair won 7-6 (7-3), 6-2.
