The Indian cricket team is currently on a South Africa tour. Team India has started this tour with the T20 series and now the eyes are on the ODI series starting from Sunday. However, before this series, BCCI had taken a big decision. Everyone is surprised by this decision of BCCI. The entire coaching staff of the team has been changed before the ODI series. The coaching staff that was there for the T20 series has been removed and a new coaching staff has been selected for the ODI series. This means that Rahul Dravid will not be the coach of the team in the ODI series.

Rahul's tenure was recently extended. His tenure was till the ODI World Cup but then BCCI extended his tenure. In the recently played T20 series, Rahul Dravid was the coach of Team India. But he will not be in the ODI series. However, Rahul will not be the coach in the ODI series itself. He will return in the test series.

Cricbuzz has told in its report that Rahul Dravid wants to concentrate completely on the Test series, which is why he has decided to stay away from the ODI series and BCCI has also accepted his point. In his place, Sitanshu Kotak will take over the responsibility of coach. Former wicketkeeper Ajay Ratra will be the fielding coach of the team. Rajib Dutt will take over the responsibility of bowling coach. The first ODI is to be played in Johannesburg on 17 December. The second ODI will be held in Port Elizabeth on 19 December. The third and last ODI will be played on 21 December in Paarl. After this Dravid will return and take charge of the Test match starting at Newlands from 26th December. It has also been told in the report that Dravid will also prepare for the three-day warm-up match.

According to the report, Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma are very focused on winning the Test series in South Africa. He does not want to leave any stone unturned for this. For this reason, Dravid's focus is completely on this series so that he can win it. India had entered the finals in the last two Test Championships but did not win the title. This time it seems that the team is more serious about it than before.
