Pankaj won the World Billiards title for the 26th time, and made these records!

India's veteran cue player Pankaj Advani won the IBSF World Billiards Championship title for the 26th time by defeating compatriot Saurav Kothari in the final here on Tuesday. Advani defeated Kothari in last year's title match in Kuala Lumpur. Pankaj won 1000–416 in the final. Advani won his first world title in 2005. Advani has won the title nine times in the 'long format' while in the 'points format' he has been the champion eight times. Apart from this, he was also successful in winning the World Team Billiards Championship once. Advani had earlier defeated compatriot Indian Rupesh Shah 900-273 in the semi-finals.
