The upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 will be played in UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14. Although the tournament is being organized in these countries, it is still hosted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). However, instead of writing T20 World Cup 'India 2021' on its jersey, Pakistan has decided to write UAE 2021.

Even before the start of the tournament, Pakistan has started playing mind games. Even though the tournament is being organized in the UAE, but it is rightly hosted by India. In such a situation, it is wrong to write UAE on the jersey.

Let us tell you for information that the T20 World Cup 2021 was to be hosted in India, but the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic prompted the International Cricket Council (ICC) to move the tournament to the backup venues UAE and then to Oman. Joined as a co-host.

The teams are unveiling their special jerseys for the mega event that India is hosting. Now the picture of Pakistan's jersey for T20 World Cup 2021 was leaked, on which instead of 'ICC Men's T20 World Cup India 2021' as per rules, T20 World Cup 2021 UAE was seen.

This may annoy the BCCI and the ICC as the rule says that on the top right of the jersey, all the teams must mention the name of the ICC event and the hosts, which are India. If UAE is written on Pakistan's jersey, then BCCI and ICC can take action on it.

India and Pakistan do not play bilateral cricket due to political tensions between the two countries. Pakistan had earlier created quite a ruckus when it asked the BCCI to confirm whether their players would get visas to come to India for the T20 World Cup when India was the venue for the tournament.

The two sides will meet in Dubai on October 24, 2021, in their first two matches in the tournament. India has never lost to Pakistan in a World Cup tournament be it 20 overs or 50 overs.

However, Pakistan has written 'ICC Men's T20 World Cup UAE 2021' on its jersey, which is now likely to cause controversy. In the picture that has gone viral on social media, Pakistan captain Babar Azam can be seen wearing the team jersey for the event where UAE is mentioned as the host.

The PCB is yet to officially unveil the jersey and it remains to be seen whether the ICC or BCCI ask them to make any changes to it.
