Pakistan bows down to India, big change for Team India in Champions Trophy! Now matches will be played here.

The Champions Trophy 2025 is to be played in February in Pakistan. However, the ICC has not yet announced the schedule of this tournament. At the same time, despite the bad relations between India and Pakistan and the security threat in Pakistan, the PCB is hopeful that Team India will come to their country for this tournament. In such a situation, the PCB had kept all the matches of Team India in Lahore in the draft schedule. But now the Pakistan Cricket Board is ready to change the schedule of the 2025 Champions Trophy to be hosted by it, retreating from its previous stance.
The big change for Team India in the Champions Trophy!
According to a PTI report, India's matches in the 2025 Champions Trophy may be held in the UAE. This means that the tournament will be played on a hybrid model. Earlier in 2023, the Asia Cup was also held on a hybrid model. Even then, Pakistan was the host. In such a situation, India played its matches in Sri Lanka because the government refused to allow players to travel across the border.
India's matches can be held at these two places.
A reliable PCB source told PTI, 'The PCB feels that even if the Indian government does not approve the Pakistan tour, the schedule can be changed a bit as there is every possibility that India will play its matches in Dubai or Sharjah.' In such a situation, it will be interesting to see when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) takes a final decision on this matter. When the final decision is likely to be taken, the ICC will be chaired by India's Jay Shah.
The tournament may be announced soon
According to the report, the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025 can be announced on November 11. Actually, the PCB is pressuring the ICC to announce the schedule of the tournament by next week. The source said, 'The PCB has discussed the tentative schedule with the ICC which they had sent a few months ago and wants the same schedule to be announced on November 11. They have told the ICC that an alternative plan with a revised budget already exists so there is no point in delaying the release of the tentative schedule.'
The source said that the PCB has also asked the ICC to pressurize the BCCI to confirm whether they will send their team to Pakistan for the tournament to be held in February-March next year. The source said, 'The PCB wants the BCCI to give in writing whether they have got permission from their government to send their team to Pakistan or not.'
