Hum to bhai jaise hain, waise rahenge… This line is actually from a song of the Hindi film 'Veer-Zara'. But, right now, it seems to fit Rohit Sharma. Especially after his statement, which he gave after losing to Sri Lanka in the second ODI, it is absolutely accurate. Now the question is what did Team India's ODI captain Rohit Sharma say after losing to Sri Lanka in the second ODI? According to Rohit, whether Team India wins or loses, his intentions are not going to change.

After the first ODI in Colombo was tied, India and Sri Lanka faced each other in the second ODI on 4 August. Batting first in this match, Sri Lanka had set a target of 241 runs for India. But, India's strong batting line-up collapsed like a pack of cards in front of Sri Lanka's spin. This happened when India scored 97 runs without losing a wicket in just 13.2 overs. Meaning, the team had got the start it needed. Despite this, Sri Lanka defeated India by 32 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Rohit's explosive innings, still the team lost

After Rohit Sharma's explosive innings of 64 runs, India had to face defeat in the second ODI. Before this, Rohit had also scored a half-century in the first ODI and that match was tied. From Team India's side, only Rohit Sharma's bat was in good form in the first two ODIs. He gave India the start it needed in the last two matches. Despite this, the team could not win.

No intention to change approach in batting- Rohit

In such a situation, when Rohit Sharma was asked after the defeat in the second ODI whether he needs to change his attitude, especially in the powerplay? Rohit's answer to this question was no. He said that he has no plans to change his approach towards batting.

Rohit said that I will not compromise on my intentions. The way I am playing, the way I am hitting the ball, is beneficial for the team. That is why I will try my best to capitalize on the powerplay so that I can put as many runs as possible on the team's scoreboard.

Team India has a chance to make a comeback

India is trailing 0-1 in the 3 ODI series against Sri Lanka. However, it will have a chance to make a comeback in the last ODI. The last match of the ODI series between India and Sri Lanka will be played on 7 August.
