Fans and cricket experts are angry due to keeping some players out of the team. Former Indian cricketer and former BCCI chief selector Krishnamachari Srikkanth was seen angry at the board for selecting Shubman Gill and leaving Rituraj Gaikwad, who performed consistently well, out of the team. He also accused the Board of Control for Cricket in India of being biased on his YouTube channel.

Srikanth raised questions on BCCI

Krishnamachari Srikkanth has now started a new debate regarding the selection of Team India. He has made a big allegation against the Board of Control for Cricket in India of being biased towards the players. Srikkanth said on his YouTube channel Cheeki Cheeka that Shubman Gill is not in form, he does not understand why he is selected in the team every time. According to Srikkanth, Rituraj Gaikwad has scored more runs than Gill and he should be automatically selected in the team, but due to too much bias he has to stay out. On the other hand, Gill keeps failing again and again, despite this he keeps getting opportunities.

Srikkanth finally said that the selectors should look at Gaikwad's runs because his luck is not as good as Gill. Let us tell you that he had accused of bias for keeping Gaikwad out of the T20 World Cup team. On the other hand, S Badrinath, who has played for Chennai Super Kings, has also raised questions on keeping Gaikwad out of T20 and ODI series.

Shubman Gill vs Rituraj Gaikwad

If we compare both the batsmen from the point of view of statistics in T20, then Rituraj Gaikwad is far ahead of Shubman Gill. Gaikwad has scored 500 runs in 17 innings at an average of 35.71 and a strike rate of 140. He was also the highest run scorer against Australia. He also scored a century in that series.

Shubman Gill has scored 335 runs in 14 innings at an average of 25 and a strike rate of 147. He has been able to score only one half-century in the last seven innings. Gaikwad also performed better than Gill in the Zimbabwe series.
