Saurabh Tiwari praised legendary India captain MS Dhoni, calling him the "God of Jharkhand Cricket". It is noteworthy that Dhoni is the only captain to have won all three major ICC white-ball tournaments – T20 World Cup (2007), ODI World Cup (2011) and Champions Trophy (2013).

Tiwari emphasized that Dhoni has given Jharkhand recognition at the global level. Furthermore, Tiwary highlighted Dhoni's ability to instil confidence in his team members and his unwavering support towards his teammates.

Saurabh Tiwari told Sports Now- "MS Dhoni is the God of Jharkhand cricket. Ever since he started playing for India, people started knowing us as a team. He came to know where Jharkhand is. MS Dhoni has given us confidence. And whenever he was around or in the city, he would come to participate in our practice sessions. Sometimes, he would also participate in the practice games. His support means everything to us," he said.

"Dhoni bhaiya gives a lot of freedom when he is leading the team. Even if you are not performing, he will stand by you. Apart from leading the team, when Dhoni bhaiya is standing behind the wicket, He helps the bowlers a lot. Will tell you how the wicket is reacting and will also help you with accurate field placement."

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina recently praised the captaincy skills of current national team captain Rohit Sharma and compared him with the great captain Dhoni. Raina took Dhoni's name in his statement while praising Rohit's leadership abilities.

Under Rohit's leadership, the Indian cricket team successfully won the five-match Test series against England with one game to spare. Despite being down 0-1 early on, India made a spectacular comeback and won three consecutive matches against the Three Lions. The win not only maintained India's domestic dominance but also marked their 17th consecutive Test series win on home soil.
