The conflict between India and Pakistan is increasing over the Champions Trophy. After the BCCI's ban, Pakistani cricketers are furious and are constantly making statements. Now veteran cricketer Shahid Afridi has also jumped into this controversy. He has tried to target India without naming it. Afridi called the Champions Trophy an important milestone for cricket. According to him, for the first time since the 1970s, cricket is facing the biggest challenge. At the same time, without naming the BCCI, he also asked to control the pride. Before Afridi, many Pakistani cricketers including Basit Ali and Rashid Latif have also expressed their opinion.

Former cricketer Shahid Afridi has advised that 'Cricket is standing at a crucial juncture and is probably facing the biggest challenge since 1970. This is the time that we forget our differences and unite for the game. If we can forget our divisions and come together for the sake of the Olympics, then why can't we do the same for cricket and Champions Trophy.' He did not stop at just giving advice. He further targeted India by taking its name and said 'As the guardian of this game, it is our responsibility to control our pride and focus on the development of cricket.'

After about 28 years, Pakistan is going to host an ICC tournament. It has also spent a lot for this. Pakistan, which is facing financial crisis, was hoping that it would earn a lot from this tournament. But due to BCCI's decision of not sending Team India to Pakistan, it may have to suffer huge losses. Now it has only three options left. Either it accepts the demand of hybrid model, or the Champions Trophy should be shifted to another country.

In case the conflict between the two boards increases, it should be postponed indefinitely. In all these three situations, Pakistan will suffer losses. This will result in a reduction in the fee of 65 million dollars i.e. about 548 rupees received by the Pakistan Cricket Board. If the Champions Trophy is shifted to another country or cancelled, then along with not getting the fees, there will also be a loss of the expenses incurred on the stadium.
