New Zealand team's legendary batsman Kane Williamson has left behind Australia's great batsman Sir Don Bradman and Indian batsman Virat Kohli in terms of centuries with his century of 118 runs in the first Test match against South Africa at Mount Maunganui.

This is Kane Williamson's 30th century in Test cricket. Virat Kohli and Don Bradman have scored 29-29 centuries in Test cricket. Kane Williamson played this innings in the first match of the two-match Test series against South Africa in 289 balls at Mount Maunganui. With this, Kane Williamson has become the fourth batsman in the world to score 30 centuries in the shortest innings in Test cricket.

Kane Williamson achieved this feat in his 167th innings of 97 matches. The record in this matter is in the name of Sachin Tendulkar (159 innings). Australia's Steve Smith (162) and Matthew Hayden (167) have also achieved this feat.
