Just a matter of 8 balls… Pakistan will face a crushing defeat again, Bangladesh is close to a miracle

If one defeat was not enough to shame the team, then the Pakistani team seems to be moving in the same direction again. After the sensational defeat in the first Test match against Bangladesh, Pakistan seems to be in trouble in the second Test match as well, that too after being in a good position. On the third day of this Test match being played in Rawalpindi, after a lead of just 12 runs, Pakistan lost 2 wickets for just 9 runs. In this way, it currently has a lead of only 21 runs in the second innings. Now on the fourth day of the match, Bangladesh will need only 8 good balls, so that it can win the series by dismissing Pakistan at the lowest score.
Bad start in the second innings
After losing the first Test match by 10 wickets, the Pakistani team wasted the opportunities that came their way in the second Test as well. After getting all out for just 274 runs in the first innings, they lost the opportunity to bowl out Bangladesh cheaply. Despite losing 6 wickets for just 26 runs, they allowed Bangladesh to reach 262 runs, which resulted in them getting a lead of just 12 runs. After this, at the end of the day, they lost 2 wickets in just 3.4 overs of batting. Out-of-form opener Abdullah Shafiq was again out for just 3 runs, while night watchman Khurram Shahzad (0) also departed.
Litton and Mirage made a strong comeback
Earlier, on the third day of the match at Pindi Stadium on Sunday, September 1, the Bangladeshi team came out to play with a score of 10 runs in their first innings. Khurram Shahzad could not do anything with the bat as a night watchman but he did his job of fast bowling very well. Khurram's dreadful balls wreaked havoc in the first hour of the day and within an hour Bangladesh lost 6 wickets, while the score was only 26 runs. Out of this, 4 wickets came in the name of Khurram, while 2 wickets went to Mir Hamza, who got a chance in this match in place of Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi.
After losing 6 wickets for just 26 runs, Pakistan's dominance was certain but still the Bangladeshi team scored 262 runs, which is enough to tell about the current mental state and confidence of the Pakistani team. Wicketkeeper-batsman Litton Das and spinner-allrounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz, who came at number seven, together made Pakistan run for their money. Miraz had already put Pakistan in trouble by taking 5 wickets but there was work left in batting. Both of them together made the team come back by making a partnership of 165 runs. Miraz could not score a century but Litton Das completed his fourth century and with a great partnership of 69 runs with Hasan Mahmood for the 9th wicket, brought the team close to Pakistan's score. For Pakistan, Khurram (6 wickets) took 5 wickets in an innings for the first time in his career, while Mir and Agha Salman got 2-2 wickets each.
