When the stars are in alignment, even small mistakes become big ones and such mistakes can bring individuals under scrutiny. The current situation of Team India's young wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan is similar. He has not been able to make a comeback since asking for a break from Team India. He has now been released from the contract for ignoring coach Rahul Dravid's advice and not following BCCI orders. Amidst all this, a mistake has come to light which can once again bring Ishaan under the target of BCCI.

Ishan Kishan has been out of Team India's picture since December 2023 and recently also stayed away from Ranji Trophy matches. Now, he is back in cricket action in the DY Patil T20 tournament in Mumbai. However, his comeback has not been promising, and he has also ignored an important BCCI rule, which could lead to consequences.

Ishaan has broken the rules.

Ishaan Kishan is playing for Reliance 1 team in this tournament. However, when he came out to bat in the first match, more attention was paid to his helmet than his batting. Actually, Ishaan's helmet had the BCCI logo on it and this is where he broke a big rule. BCCI has strict rules that players cannot use equipment with the BCCI logo in any form in domestic cricket.

Players representing Team India often use the BCCI logo on their equipment when playing for their home teams. However, a few years ago, BCCI had ordered to strictly enforce this rule, due to which players have been hiding it by placing tape over the BCCI logo on their helmets, jerseys or any equipment. However, Ishan Kishan did not follow this and played with a helmet displaying the BCCI logo. In such a situation, BCCI can impose a fine on him.

BCCI's fine came

just a day before the board had dropped Ishaan from this year's central contract. After taking a break from Team India, he was advised to make a comeback and play domestic cricket. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also directed the players who left Team India to play in the Ranji Trophy. However, Ishaan did not become a part of his team Jharkhand and after this, the board took action against him.
