Cricket fans are now waiting for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). For this, the preparations of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are in full swing. After the auction of players for the tournament, now big news has come regarding its organization.

If reports are to be believed, the 17th edition of IPL may start on March 22. The Women's Premier League can be started at the end of February. Lok Sabha elections are to be held in the country this year. Keeping this in view, the Board of Control for Cricket in India wants that IPL matches should not clash with the dates of Lok Sabha elections.

Earlier, the Indian Board had indicated that the IPL schedule would be released after the announcement of general elections. If reports are to be believed, the Women's Premier League will be organized this time in two cities, Delhi and Bengaluru.

Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriors will participate in this tournament.
