IPL 2025 Auction: 5 players who lost crores, the ground slipped under their feet

Mitchell Starc suffered the biggest loss in the IPL 2025 auction. Last season, Starc got a record-breaking amount of 24.75 crores but this time this player was sold for Rs 11.75 crores. Starc was made their own by Delhi Capitals. Starc suffered a total loss of 13 crores.

KL Rahul was expected to be sold for a very high price in the IPL 2025 auction but a big deal happened with this player. KL Rahul was sold for just 14 crores, he joined the Delhi team. Till last season, KL Rahul had received Rs 17 crore but now this player is going to get Rs 3 crore less.

Glenn Maxwell also suffered a huge loss in the auction. This player was bought by Punjab Kings for 4.2 crores. Last season, this player was playing for RCB for 11 crores. This means Maxwell suffered a loss of 6.8 crores.

Ishan Kishan also suffered a loss in the IPL auction. This season Kishan was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 11.25 crores. Till last season, Kishan used to get 15.25 crores per season.

Sameer Rizvi, who played for Chennai Super Kings last season, has again received only Rs 95 lakh this time. Chennai had spent Rs 8.40 crore on Sameer Rizvi last season.
