IPL 2024: This star all-rounder will open for CSK along with Ruturaj Gaikwad!

New Zealand's star all-rounder Rachin Ravindra may have luck shining in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. Rachin Ravindra, who impressed everyone with his brilliant performance in the ICC ODI World Cup for the Kiwi team, can now debut for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

Due to the injury of the team's star opener Devon Conway, now Rachin Ravindra may get a chance to debut as an opener for CSK along with Ruturaj Gaikwad in the upcoming edition of IPL. Being an all-rounder, Rachin can prove to be very useful for the team captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. 

It is noteworthy that in the ODI World Cup held in India last year, Rachin Ravindra scored 578 runs in 10 matches at an average of 64.22. During this period he hit 55 fours and 17 sixes. Rachin had scored three centuries and two half-centuries in this World Cup. Chennai had bought this cricketer for Rs 1.80 crore for IPL 2024.
