Australia's world champion team captain Pat Cummins has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 20.50 crore. With this, he has become the most expensive player in IPL history.

There was a war between RCB and Sunrisers to buy Cummins. In the end, Cummins was successful in winning the match. His base price was Rs 2 crore. Earlier, England all-rounder Sam Curran was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 18.50 crore.

Whereas, Rajasthan Royals, the champion of the first edition of IPL, spent Rs 7.4 crore for West Indies all-rounder player Rovman Powell. His base price was Rs 1 crore base price.
