IPL 2021 RCB vs DC Delhi has 20 points from 13 matches and is set to finish in the top two. On the other hand, after the defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday, it has become difficult for RCB to reach second place in the points table.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who have made it to the playoffs, would like to forget the defeat of the previous match and go into the next round with full confidence after defeating Delhi Capitals in the last league match. Delhi has 20 points from 13 matches and is certain to finish in the top two. At the same time, after the defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday, it has become difficult for RCB to reach second place in the points table.

RCB could not achieve the target of 142 runs due to batsmen like AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, skipper Virat Kohli, and Devdutt Padikkal. Captain Kohli will have to consider this before the knockout stage, as batsmen like Maxwell and de Villiers can turn the game on their own. Maxwell has so far scored 447 runs including five half-centuries, while de Villiers has not been seen in his familiar form. RCB's middle order can wreak havoc if Kohli and Padikkal get a good start. In the last match, the team came under pressure after Kohli's wicket fell in the very first over. The performance of RCB bowlers has been commendable. Muhammad Siraj, Harshal Patel, and George Garten have handled the fast bowling duties very well. Yuzvendra Singh Chahal has bowled good spells in a spin.

On the other hand, the Delhi team led by Rishabh Pant has won four out of the last five matches and their confidence is high after the league stage. Delhi's batting has been strong despite Prithvi Shaw not performing consistently. Shikhar Dhawan has scored 501 runs in 13 matches. Shreyas Iyer and Pant also did well on several occasions, but they have to play well. In fast bowling, the trio of Enrique Notreje, Kagiso Rabada, and Avesh Khan has done wonders. At the same time, playing spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel has not been easy.
