With this win, Gujarat has made it to the final for the second time in a row, where they will face four-time winners Chennai Super Kings on Sunday.

Gujarat Titans scored 233 runs losing three wickets in the first game against Mumbai Indians. This is the highest score made by any team in the OPL playoffs. In this case, Gujarat Titans, captained by Hardik Pandya, broke the record of Punjab Kings, who had scored 226 runs for the loss of six wickets against Chennai Super Kings in the 2014 playoffs.
