In the 51st match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals are almost out of the play-offs after a humiliating defeat to five-time champions Mumbai Indians. Playing first in front of the killer bowling of all-rounder James Neesham and Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rajasthan Royals could only manage 90 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Mumbai team, captained by Rohit Sharma, scored 94 runs for 2 wickets in just 8.2 overs and won the match by eight wickets. With this win, Mumbai Indians have moved up to the fifth position in the table with 12 points. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have reached the seventh position in the points table with 10 points.
